For over 20 years, I've worked closely with clients, helping them crystallize their business strategy and implement successful advertising and marketing initiatives. Below are a handful of examples showcasing the creative output of that process.

Calfrac
CALGARY, CANADA
Over a period of 10 years, I supported Calfrac's marketing team, primarily in a production capacity, developing trade show posters, office signage, and a series of videos.
SAExploration
CALGARY, CANADA
This series of full-page advertisements for SAExploration were published in a variety of trade publications targeting oil and gas professionals and executives.
CDS Consulting
TOKYO, JAPAN
I had the pleasure of working with CDS Consulting from the late '90s until the late 2000s when the founding partners sold the business. Over a period of ~10 years, I supported all of CDS' marketing and advertising initiatives. Projects included the design of the company's website, trade show signage, brochures, business cards, full-page ads, print-on-demand templates and multimedia presentations. CDS was acquired by RGF in 2008 and was ultimately rebranded. When asked about the change, CEO, Struan McKay said,"Of course, we have a sentimental and emotional connection to the CDS brand that has served us so well over the past 20 years."

Whitetooth Brewing Company
GOLDEN, CANADA
In the early stages of Whitetooth's conceptual development, before the brewery had broken ground, I designed a series of logo and packaging concepts for the owners. The brewery launched using one of the concepts I designed. Note: The logo was later revised by a third party.
ASSOCIATION
Defrost Network
Defrost Network was an association for creative professionals in Alberta. I founded the association as a response to the resession that occurred after the dot com bubble burst. With many creative professionals out of work, Defrost Network was a place meet new people and share opportunities. As an early social network, Defrost Network provided members with an online portfolio, jobs board, and resume builder. Defrost Network also hosted several in-person networking events in and ultimately grew to nearly 1000 members.

SOFTWARE
I worked with Solium Capital's marketing team to design the company's website, trade show signage, and POD sheets. I also designed the wordmark for Solium's SaaS solution, Shareworks. In 2019, Solium Capital was acquired by Morgan Stanley. The total transaction was valued at approximately CAD$1.1 billion.

In the days before COVID-19, handing out business cards was commonplace. It's hard to believe, but it's true! And since business cards were typically handed out when meeting someone new, they were an important part of making a good first impression. I can't even hazard a guess as to how many cards I've designed, but here are some of my favourites.
